Services
Bookkeeping that helps you plan, price and grow
Seven services that work together. Keep the books accurate every month, catch up when you’ve fallen behind, and turn your numbers into decisions about taxes, pricing and where to spend your time.
Ongoing
Monthly bookkeeping
We handle the day-to-day recording so you don’t have to. Every transaction is categorized, every account is reconciled, and the month is closed on a regular schedule. You get reports you can trust and a bookkeeper who knows your business.
- Transaction categorization across bank, card and payment accounts
- Monthly reconciliations and general ledger review
- One short list of questions instead of constant interruptions
- Monthly reports with a plain-language summary
One-time project
Catch-up & cleanup
Life and business get busy. If your books are months or years behind, or you’re not sure the numbers in your software are right, we’ll bring everything current and correct what needs fixing. No judgment. It’s more common than you’d think.
- Categorize or re-categorize past transactions
- Reconcile each account back to its statements
- Fix duplicates, misfiled entries and old balances
- Deliver clean statements ready for your tax preparer
Account reconciliation
Reconciliation is how you know your books match reality. We compare your records to every bank, credit card and loan statement and track down the differences. It’s where missed deposits, duplicate charges and errors come to light.
Monthly financial reports
Each month you receive a profit and loss statement, balance sheet and a picture of your cash, along with a short note on what changed and why it matters. When you track projects or revenue streams, those reports come too.
Year-round
Proactive tax planning & strategy
Tax planning works best when it happens during the year, not after it’s over. Because your books are closed every month, we can look at year-to-date results with you well before December.
Stay tax-ready
Income and expenses categorized consistently all year, with organized records your tax professional can use.
Plan ahead
Review profit trends, cash needs and decisions worth discussing with your CPA or tax preparer.
Turn numbers into decisions
Know where the profit comes from
Revenue stream profitability analysis
Different services, products, locations or customer types can have very different margins. We help track income and direct costs by revenue stream so you can see what to promote, what to reprice and where to spend your time.
Project & job tracking
We tag income and costs to each job, property or client engagement. Compare what each project earned, check whether estimates are holding up and use the results to choose the next job with confidence.
| Project | Revenue | Direct costs | Gross profit | Margin |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kitchen remodel | $48,000 | $36,500 | $11,500 | 24% |
| Deck build | $18,000 | $11,700 | $6,300 | 35% |
| Bathroom remodel | $26,000 | $22,900 | $3,100 | 12% |

Working with your CPA
We’re a bookkeeping and financial management firm, not a CPA firm. We don’t perform audits or issue audited or reviewed financial statements. When you need those, we work alongside the CPA firm you choose.
Let’s talk about your business.
A relaxed first conversation about where your books stand and what you’d like to know from them. No pressure and no jargon.
OUR SERVICES
Everything your books need, from cleanup to insight.
Start with what's most pressing. Many owners begin with a cleanup, then move to monthly bookkeeping with project tracking and tax planning built in.

MORE THAN BOOKKEEPING
Good books should help you plan, not just record what already happened.
Most bookkeeping looks backward. We use the same numbers to help you look ahead: what’s coming at tax time, where your profit is really coming from, and where your time and money will do the most good.
✓ Plan ahead for taxes
Books closed every month mean you and your tax professional can see what's coming before year-end, not after.
✓ Protect your bottom line
Reconciled accounts and monthly reviews catch missed income, duplicate charges and creeping costs early.
✓ Find your strongest revenue streams
See which services, products or customers carry the best margins, and which only look busy.
✓ Know which projects deserve your attention
Job-level tracking shows what each project actually earned, so you can price and choose work with confidence.
Working with your CPA.
We're bookkeeping and financial management, not a CPA firm. We coordinate with your CPA or tax preparer so they start from clean, tax-ready books.
